I had watched Part One and felt that it was indeed a nice and educational one, however some errors I can spot are:
1. The Dive-bombers are abandoning their search for the Japaneses carriers NOT like what it mentioned in the film(which says that they are executing a sharp turn), they turns to trail a spotted Japanese destroyer(as they felt that it was a fleet escort returning from a ASW[Anti-Submarine warfare] search ) just after that they had spotted it and also just after they had just abandoned their search. It was the destroyer that lead them to the Japaneses carriers.
2.The carriers spotted was Kaga, Akiga(spelling may had mistake) and Soryu, hiryu was nowhere to be seen as it was further ahead as the leader of the fleet NOT what the film had mentioned about sighting four carriers.
Overall, i felt that it was a good and enriching film...on to watching part two...

Hi,

The source of the video, if I am not wrong, should be from National Geographic. Their intention was not just to tell about the story of Midway, but also to re-discover about the sunken Yorktown.

It is reliable as its purpose is probably just to educate and not to put anyone in good nor bad light.

I have no comments about what Jun Kai said. I need to know the source of his info and read up more too.

I felt that what I had mentioned was just some tactical errors that DID NOT AFFECT THE GOOD QUALITY OF THIS FILM, furthermore, error two of my error was corrected in the Part two of the film, error one was only minor one and i knew of it after reading a website that i had forgotten,sry...:(, thumbs up to this film.
Speaking of National geographic, i strongly like the film "SECONDS TO DISASTER" shown on Friday 10pm, at at arts central but had ended, it was a really good film and i urge all of you to support the movement to bring series three to TV.

But even so Jun Kai how do you know that your book is right while the film produced by national geograaphic is wrong? National geographic is a reputatable information source compiled ny experts. Maybe your book is wrong. Anyway i felt that the video was quite interesting.
